SEG Digital Library and SEG eBooks transition to new publishing platform
Tulsa, OK — 12 November 2012 — The Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the world’s leading applied-geophysics organization, has moved the SEG Digital Library and SEG eBooks to the Atypon® Literatum™ publishing platform. SEG Digital Library users will enjoy a host of new features including additional search and browse functions and embedded links in new content presented in PDF. Nontechnical articles published from 1993 to the present will be added to the Digital Library and presented with technical articles. Online library support, including an interface for usage statistics, IP address management, and institutional logo placement, will continue to be provided in the new Digital Library. SEG Members currently receive access to the SEG Digital Library as part of their membership benefits and now also will receive member pricing on SEG eBooks purchases.
